  1. Certificate of complete general secondary education with its supplement (when entering after the 11th grade).
  2. A copy of the diploma with supplement (entry on the basis of a junior bachelor or junior specialist degree).
  3. An NMT certificate 2023–2026, or interview(s) in NMT subjects – only for applicants of the relevant privileged categories.
  4. Copies of your passport and tax ID, three 3×4 photos.
  5. Proof of residence.
  6. A copy of the military-registration document (for men).

Key points of the 2026 general admission rules (10 points)
  1. An applicant may submit a total of 5 applications for state-funded places. The minimum competitive score to take part is 130.
  2. When applying, you indicate a priority of 1–5 (1 – highest). The priority cannot be changed afterwards, so decide in advance.
  3. Registration of e-cabinets opens on 1 July at vstup.edbo.gov.ua. If you run into difficulties, contact the admissions consultation point (details at the bottom of the page).
  4. Registration of applications for interviews – until 10 July (privileged categories only). General application period: 19 July – 1 August 2026.
  5. Applications are submitted electronically via the personal cabinet. A paper form is used only for those with privileges or unable to register a cabinet.
  6. The ranked list of those recommended for admission is built from the competitive score and the application priorities. An applicant is recommended for admission to only one institution and one specialty, at the highest priority. The list is generated automatically by the Unified State Education Database.
  7. State-funded admission to full-time study – no later than 13 August.
  8. Recommendations and the contract list are published no earlier than 13 August.
  9. Transfer to vacant state-funded places – no later than 28 August. Vacant places are state-funded places not taken up by other applicants.
  10. The right to transfer to vacant state-funded places belongs to those who were not recommended for state-funded admission. We recommend consulting the admissions office (especially with privileges or special conditions).

* EEE (Unified Entrance Exam) is the entrance test for Master's admission. It combines a general learning-competence test and a foreign-language test.

Common admission questions

What is the minimum score for state-funded admission?

The minimum competitive score to take part in the state-funded competition is 130. The specialty is state-supported, so the threshold is usually 10–20 points lower than for classic IT specialties.

How many applications can I submit?

Up to 5 applications for state-funded places, with priorities 1–5 (1 – highest). The priority cannot be changed after submitting, so decide in advance.

Which NMT subjects are required?

Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics, history of Ukraine and any other subject of your choice.

How many state-funded places are there?

The licensed capacity is 50 students. There are bonuses too: +2% to the score for priority 1–2 and a regional coefficient of ×1.07.

How much does contract study cost?

Bachelor's – about UAH 11,000 per semester; Master's – about UAH 13,000 per semester (as of 2026).

When do I apply in 2026?
